'Blue pond' is in Hokkaido, Japan where I live. This pond was adopted the wallpaper for apple inc this year. I went to there yesterday. Really beautiful !!!!!

Cold Chinese noodles
Chinese noodles chilled in cold water and topped with sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, hams and paper-thin omelet etc... Put some sauce over the noodles before eating. Usually I use sauce that is sold in a bottle.

Japanese white radish and Chinese cabbage dinner
Japanese white radish and ground chicken boiled with potato starch. To season with ginger, garlic, sugar, mirin and soy sauce.
A Chinese cabbage salad. Just cut a Chinese cabbage is topped with ’Katsuobushi’ (dried bonito) and shredded 'nori' (seaweed). Put a dressing on. We use flaxseed oil and soy sauce.
Fried bean sprouts. Beans sprouts stir-fried with other vegetables seasoned with soy sauce, Thai fish sauce, salt and pepper.
We ate cherries that grown in Hokkaido as dessert.

Lamp and Pork shabu-shabu
Shabu-shabu is a Japanese dish in which extremely thin slices of meat are cooked by swishing them back and forth several times in dashi boiled in a pot, dipped in sauce and eaten with boiled ingredients such as vegetables and tofu. Normally, shabu-shabu made using thin sliced beef, but this made lamb and pork. Mutton 'ramu-shabu' and octopus 'tako-shabu' are popular in Hokkaido.
'Buta(pork)-shabu' It is served with a sauce which is 'Ponzu' (a seasoning made of vinegar and the juice from a bitter orange) and grated 'daikon' (a Japanese white radish).

Soba noodles
Japanese leek soba noodles. It can add ground red pepper (ichimi-tougarashi) or a mixture of ground red pepper and other spices (sichimi-tougarashi) , according to one's taste.
