The local dishes of Hokkaido

Potatoes with butter.  In Hokkaido, boiled potatoes is sometimes eaten with salted squid.

Yakizakana. Yakizakana is grilled fish. Many varieties of fish are enjoyed in this way. This fish is atka mackerel. Atka mackerel is very popular fish in Hokkaido.

Marinated vegetables. (This dish isn't local dish.)

Curry marinated cauliflower. (This dish isn't local dish.)
